Principal's Message Our rebuild continues with inspections completed on our septic and well systems. Survey teams have also been out to the site to determine building placement as well! We are still working with the insurance company to nail down a budget amount! We will keep you posted!! I know there is a lot going on and with the weather being so crazy lately. I understand things happen but our attendance has really decreased this month. I understand and appreciate when parents are following the COVID protocols which are excused absences, but most of our absences were unexcused reasons. We only had 10 students that got to do Plinko this morning for perfect attendance all week! Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help!! I hope to see you at Trunk or Treat at the Berry Creek Post Office!!
Mr. Peet's Corner Learning fun in Mr. Peet's Class!
News From Ms. Perez RocketMath: School wide, we have started a new online game for practicing math facts called RocketMath. The students are really enjoying it, and advancing quickly in their math fact fluency. Starting this month, your child will have their QR code in their homework folder, so that they may log in from anywhere, and practice at any time. RocketMath can be downloaded to any device.
SeeSaw: We have over 60 posts added to our Journal in Seesaw! Thank you to those of you that are keeping connected there. The kids love seeing your responses to their work and activities throughout the day. It is a positive motivator that keeps them striving to do well all day long!! Pumpkin patch time at Book Family Farm!
From Mrs. Mcintosh Mrs. McIntosh The first trimester will soon be completed. Students have been very attentive to their work and doing their best. On Wednesdays, students will have digital homework through three or four different websites. I am working on centralizing this, so that students are able to open one document and then click on links that take them directly to where they need to be to complete the assignments. One of them is spelling city. Your child can practice their spelling words daily using this online option to improve their ability to spell the words correctly on Fridays. Go to https://www.spellingcity.com/users/jmcintosh59 I am looking forward to meeting with parents and caregivers soon to go over your child’s progress and to make plans for proceeding through Trimester 2. Well done to Allie Foster for earning student of the month. She received this accomplishment by being at school every day. She is prepared student who is always Ready-to-Learn. She shows great Responsibility as a student by caring for the materials assigned to her, and by showing respect at all times while in the classroom. She practices good citizenship by helping other student and offers of assistance to adults working in the classroom.
Congratulations to Kahrye Day for winning the monthly drawing!! Tk-2, 3-5 and 6-8th costume contest winners!
