National Native American Heritage Month
November is National Native American Heritage Month and a great time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and acknowledge the significant contributions of Native people.
Earlier this school year, the Washington Unified School District (WUSD) Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 2324-11 to recognize Native American Heritage Month and to encourage all schools and the community to recognize the contributions of Native Americans through our curriculum and activities.
