Ensuring the safety of everyone on our campus is a top priority. Our Comprehensive Safe School and Emergency Plan is currently being crafted. The plan outlines Crisis Management, Crisis Readiness, and our Site Action Plan. Emergency drills are a key component of our plan.
Each month we practice at least one Fire Drill / Evacuation. Other drills that we carry out during the year include: Assailant on Campus / Lockdown, Bomb Threat/ Evacuation, Earthquake, and Shelter In Place. For each drill we utilize Catapult EMS to send critical alerts to our staff. In the event of an actual emergency, Catapult EMS will alert first responders as well.
This week we will practice our Earthquake Drill. |
