This Week at Churchill/Community Statement

- “We build positive, supportive relationships.”

- Every morning we say the Pledge of Allegiance and the Character Counts Pledge together over the intercom before school starts. On Fridays, we share a few funny jokes. This week Mrs. Ixpata and I were in Mrs. Clark’s 2nd grade classroom.

Upcoming Dates

- Thursday, October 26th: 5 hour attendance (9:00-2:00)

- Friday, October 27th: No School

- Tuesday, October 31st: Parade and Room Parties (the parade starts at 2:15, with room parties starting afterward - about 2:45). For parents new to Churchill, the students parade outside around the building and parents can watch/take pictures.

- Staff Recognition: The entire Churchill Elementary School staff deserves to be acknowledged for the great work they do on a daily basis! - Fundraiser to Keller's Farmstand this Weekend: Join us at Keller's Farmstand on Saturday, October 21 AND Sunday, October 22 for our Fall Fundraiser. Keller's will donate a percentage of the tickets sold back to the HSA. Details on the attached flyer.

- Churchill Challenge Fun Run: The Churchill Challenge Fun Run is coming up! Kickoff for fundraising is Monday, October 30th and ends with a school fun run during the day on Wednesday, November 8! More details to come.

- Next meeting - HSA Meetings are the second Thursday of the month. The next meeting is at 11:30 AM in the Churchill Community Room. Join us Thursday, November 9.
